Job Description
Role & Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize antenna elements (patch, monopole, PIFA or arrays) across frequency bands ranging from 100 MHz to 60 GHz.
- Use high‑fidelity electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., Ansys HFSS, CST Studio Suite, Altair FEKO) to model antenna performance, analyze impedance matching, S‑parameters (S11), radiation patterns, gain, directivity, and efficiency.
- Evaluate installed performance by integrating antennas into complex platforms such as mobile devices or vehicles.
- Conduct hands‑on laboratory testing to verify that physical prototypes match simulation results; measure VSWR, bandwidth, radiation patterns and polarization using VNA, spectrum analyzer, anechoic chambers or near‑field scanners.
- Collaborate with mechanical and RF engineers to integrate antennas into product enclosures while managing size constraints and potential interference.
