I. Job Summary
Leads the development and modification of in-house applications or specialized utility programs. Analyzes and coordinates application requirements and produces a recommended system design. Supports other activities assigned under ADMD.
II. Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops or enhances programs based on business requirements and translate them into technical solutions; Demonstrates sound Application Developer Specialist knowledge; Implements best practices for software development, including version control and code reviews.
- Performs unit testing to ensure correctness of the program codes, fixing (‘debugging’) errors where they occur, rerunning and rechecking the program until it produces the correct results prior endorsement for QA and/or UA testing.
