Role Summary
The Application Hosting Engineer is responsible for the administration, stability, automation, and modernization of enterprise application hosting platforms, primarily Microsoft IIS (.NET). Good to have experience with Oracle WebLogic, and IBM WebSphere Application Server / IBM Liberty. This role ensures highly available, secure, and scalable application runtimes across multiple data centers, supporting both internet‑facing and internal mission‑critical applications. Responsibilities include platform patching, performance tuning, certificate management, troubleshooting, and leveraging automation and observability to reduce operational toil.
