Rate of Pay per Hour Over the 3 Year Apprenticeship: Year 1: £11.16 Year 2: £11.52 Year 3: £12.23 East Lothian Council is keen to continue its tradition of harnessing and developing the talent of young people in the local area and as such are looking to recruit 2 Apprentice Mechanics. These apprenticeships are restricted to applicants who currently live in the East Lothian Area and are aged between 16 and 24years of age. (This is extended to applicants up to 29 years of age who have a disability, are from a care-experienced background, or are registered as a young carer with East Lothian Council).
