About the Role
Healthrix is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our medical billing team. The AR Specialist will manage accounts receivable functions, including billing, collections, and resolving outstanding claims efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies, government agencies, and other third-party payers.
- Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues.
- Investigate and resolve claim denials, rejections, and discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as coding and revenue cycle, to streamline billing processes and improve collections efficiency.
