Job Description
**Summary**
We are seeking highly skilled, experienced **Armed Security Guards,** well versed in physical security operations to join our team in support of security operations at the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO).
**Responsibilities**
+ Report directly to the Security Shift Supervisor, promptly informing them of any unusual or emergency situations.
+ Enforce all applicable standard operating procedures and government regulations related to the security of weapons, buildings, personnel, government property, and equipment.
+ Arrive at work in proper uniform and with required issued equipment, ensuring both are clean and well-maintained.
+ Exercise force up to, and including, deadly force when necessary.
+ Participate in Guard Mount and carry out general and special orders for the assigned post.
+ Communicate effectively via radio, telephone, and orally in English.
+ Interact and escort public and government personnel as required.
