The Interventional Radiology Technologist collaborates closely with radiologists to perform vascular imaging and procedures. Responsibilities include assisting in surgical aspects, organizing non-sterile tasks, and operating radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment for imaging. They maintain proficiency in radiography and other specialties for coverage, assess patients, educate on procedures, and prepare them physically and emotionally.
