Job Description
Position Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving;
- Respond to emergency call-outs
- Grind components and tapered surfaces.
- Manufacture components from drawing that’s needed to build Die`s or to make changes to existing parts.
- Read and interpret charts, drawings and blueprints.
- Determine product specification such as dimensions & tolerances
- Follow SWI on all equipment to be used such as press, air grinder, Pedestal drill and hand tools.
- Lift or hoist work pieces.
- Utilize micro meters, callipers, Verniers and present gauge.
- Welding and repair chipped or broken plates.
- Plan activities on daily basis to improve die output for presses and minimize waiting periods for die builders
