Aspire People are currently recruiting for an ASD Specialist Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a welcoming school in Harborne.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and compassionate TA who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
Role
- Supporting pupils with ASD on a 1:1 and small-group basis
- Assisting with learning, communication and social development
- Implementing strategies to meet individual needs
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and parents
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Experience supporting children with ASD
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Patient, caring and adaptable approach
- Relevant TA or SEN qualifications are desirable <...
