PGS Worldwide is seeking an Assembler in Bethpage, NY for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role involves building and assembling mechanical and electronic components used in advanced aerospace systems, working from drawings and instructions in a production environment.
Required Skills
- U.S. Citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in an aircraft or similar assembly environment
- Experience working with hardware such as nuts, bolts, and rivets
- Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
