**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Truss Assembler for our 2nd shift to join our manufacturing team, specializing in residential and commercial trusses. This role involves working closely with wood components to create high-quality trusses.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble trusses by reading and following blueprints displayed on a screen.
+ Set up jigs with robotic pins to correctly position pre-cut wood.
+ Tack plates and use a roller to flatten and finish the product.
+ Read a tape measure accurately to 1/16 of an inch.
+ Utilize a hammer and pneumatic staple gun for assembly.
+ Stand trusses upright in the yard and work with forklift operators.
+ Catch wood off the machine, check angles with a carpenter square, stack on pallets, and label appropriately.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to lift 50lbs.
+ Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
