Job Description
Our Client, a Material Engineering company, is looking for an Assembler for their Rochester, NY location. Responsibilities:
+ The assembler will be responsible for assembling electromechanical prototype products in an engineering lab environment.
+ The candidate will be required to meet with project stake holders on a regular basis to understand daily tasks in a fast-paced engineering environment.
+ Follow verbal and written process steps for assembling prototype products
+ Collaborating with design and manufacturing engineers to develop best assembly practices for new products
+ Present proposals for assembly process changes that help reduce product cost and assembly time
+ Redline assembly procedures and Bill of Materials based on findings.
+ Assist Manufacturing Engineers with developing work cells
Requirements:
+ 5+ years of electronics and/or electromechanical work experience
