Job Description:
The Asset Accountant performs fixed, leased and capital assets accounting relating to creating manual journal entries, reviewing/approving assets, calculating depreciations, posting journal entries, and creating standardized reporting.
Key Job Responsibilities
Fixed Assets Accounting
- Review and approve additions, journal entries, disposal and transfers
- Manage the physical asset verification process and reconcile to FA ledger
- Calculate depreciation and post relevant journal entries
- Analyze and verify fixed asset movement reporting
Intangible Assets Accounting
- Review and approve additions, journal entries, disposal and transfers
