Assistant Accountant

We have a position available for a mature Accountant in the East of JHB. This is an office based position.

Minimum Requirements

1. Grade 12


2. Accounting/Finance Diploma/Degree


3. Experience with Xero, Sage or Pastel


4. Proficient in MS Excel


5. Valid drivers license


6. High attention to detail


7. At least 4 years experience in a financial role

 
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks


• Perform bank, creditor, and debtor reconciliations for 9 companies


• Record and process supplier invoices, expense claims, and journals


• Maintain the general ledger and related schedules


• Prepare monthly management reports
