Job Description
We are partnering with a global contract manufacturer in the electronics and precision engineering space to find an experienced automation professional ready to take ownership of their automation function across APAC.
The Role
This is a hands-on individual contributor role with significant regional scope. You will be responsible for driving the company's automation agenda — from strategy through to execution to oversee projects at overseas manufacturing sites.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and executing an automation strategy aligned with manufacturing and business goals
- Identifying automation opportunities and building ROI justifications to secure buy-in
- Managing the full project lifecycle — from concept and system design (including jigs and fixtures) through testing, commissioning, and handover to production
- Leading CapEx planning and budget management for automation investments
