Responsibilities
As an assistant chef in one of our care homes, your duties will include supporting and working alongside the head chef in leading the kitchen team toprepare healthy and nutritious seasonal meals for our residents as well as catering for those with any specialist dietary requirements. You will have plenty of opportunity to put your interest and passion for food to good use.
You will be experienced in food preparation and cooking, ensuring a range of options are available at mealtimes for our residents to choose from. You will be responsible for checking and maintaining kitchen equipment, reporting any damages or breakages to the maintenance team or home manager.
