Food Preparation
- Wash, peel, chop, and prepare vegetables, meats, and ingredients
- Measure and organize ingredients before cooking
- Assist chefs with meal preparation and plating
- Cook simple dishes under supervision
- Monitor food while cooking (stirring, heating, frying, etc.)
- Prepare sauces, salads, desserts, or side dishes
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain cleanliness
- Store food items correctly
- Check freshness and expiration dates
- Help receive and organize kitchen supplies
- Support chefs during busy service hours
- Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff
- Help maintain smooth kitchen operations
