Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, portioning, and serving of meals according to hospital menus and dietary instructions.
- Deliver patient meals accurately based on diet orders and ward schedules.
- Ensure food handling, storage, and service comply with hygiene, safety, and Halal standards.
- Set up, clean, and maintain dining areas, pantries, and service equipment.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies.
- Support catering services for hospital events, meetings, or special functions.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen utensils, equipment, and work areas.
- Follow hospital policies, SOPs, and infection control procedures at all times.
- Provide polite and professional service to patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
- Report any food quality issues, equipment faults, or safety concerns to supervisors.
