Rowan University is seeking a talented and experienced assistant director of University Communication to join its Division of Marketing & Communication. This role is ideal for a strategic communicator with a passion for storytelling who can elevate the university’s reputation through compelling content and media outreach.
The Assistant Director will:
+ Promote the University through proactive media relations, including developing story ideas, writing news releases, and pitching to regional, national, and international media outlets.
+ Collaborate directly with deans, faculty, researchers, students, and executive leadership to identify and communicate impactful stories.
