Assistant Engineer - Naval Systems Maintenance Location:
Changi Naval Base Job Summary: As an Assistant Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the operational readiness and maintenance of naval platforms. Working closely with fellow engineers, Service Delivery Managers, and Project Managers, you will support the upkeep of onboard systems through hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, refurbishment, and equipment installation across vessels, workshops, and shipyards. You will have opportunities to be short-listed for participation in short-term overseas attachment and training courses. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Superintendent in maintaining naval systems at high availability and readiness. Perform maintenance tasks onboard vessels, in workshops, and at shipyards. Troubleshoot system defects and perform corrective actions. Carry out installation and removal of equipment and systems. Refurbish electronic units and assemblies to restore functionality.
