Job Description
JOB SUMMARY Assistant project managers perform a range of administrative and management tasks to assist the estimator/project manager while completing training and experience gathering. They follow up on clients, take minutes during project meetings, may analyze statistical data as required and also fill in for managers when they are unavailable. Additionally, they may handle small projects assigned by senior management. Assistant project managers usually perform tasks which are salient to smooth project operations. They complete various project tasks to provide for an efficient and productive completion of company construction projects including project documentation, vendor / subcontractor relations, field support, maintain project schedule, owner and engineer contact, contract progress and payment monitoring, and field production monitoring.
