Summary of Duties
Provide meal service directly to patients' bedside and perform other related duties in KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital (KPJ APSH).
Responsibilities
- Involve in meal assembly for all three meals and mid-meal snacks including late orders.
- Deliver patient meals and mid-meal snacks from Dietary Services and serve to patients' bedside.
- Collect soiled trays from patients upon completion of meals.
- Distribute and collect patient menus for following days.
- Assist in setting up of in-house catering items and deliver to designated venue; provide waitressing service if requested.
- Perform all dishwashing functions including scrapping, washing and storage of crockeries, glassware and cutleries.
- Maintain and clean dishwasher at regular intervals.
- Clean working areas regularly and perform weekly general cleaning as directed.
