Duties/Responsibilities
- Coach individual participants in the sport skills necessary for achievement.
- Select the squad for the team.
- Plan and schedule a regular program of practice.
- Attend league, district and school staff meetings, sports awards programs and banquets.
- Oversee the safety conditions of practice, game and locker room areas.
- Complete required paperwork.
- Explain and enforce eligibility rules, training rules, and regulations.
- Assume responsibility for uniforms and equipment.
Job Time
As required by Athletic Director
Requirements
- Valid CT Coaching permit.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Concussion Mod 15.
- CT Lifeguard certification.
