Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Audit Execution & Facilitation
Audit Readiness: Support the Manager in ensuring the General Ledger (GL) and trial balance are audit-ready by performing monthly reconciliations and hygiene checks.
Primary Liaison: Act as the first point of contact for statutory, internal, and tax auditors. Handle ground-level queries and escalate complex issues to the Manager with proposed solutions.
Documentation: Prepare comprehensive audit schedules, lead sheets, and supporting workpapers (as per IndAS) for the Manager’s review before submission to auditors.
Due Diligence Support: Assist the Manager in setting up and maintaining Virtual Data Rooms (VDR) for due diligence exercises, ensuring all financial documents are indexed and accurate.
