Job Description
This is a full-time position offered on an employment contract till 31 March 2027, with the possibility of renewal/extension based on performance and organisational needs.
The role maintains the hospital National Trauma Registry and all quality assurance issues related to the Trauma Registry. He / she is responsible for entering data into the registry system ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in handling of all trauma related matters.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Implement Processes for Trauma Registry
- Conduct daily trauma case screening to identify eligible cases for registry inclusion.
- Abstract, code, and enter trauma data accurately into the National Trauma Registry in accordance with established definitions and guidelines.
- Perform injury coding using standardized classification systems.
