Role Overview
Assist in formulating and implementing national non‑communicable disease prevention policies with relevant partners and stakeholders to reduce the overall burden of non‑communicable diseases. The key focus is to lower the prevalence of modifiable risk factors and increase early detection of chronic diseases.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop Preventive Health Policies
- Formulate and implement feasible, innovative, evidence‑based, and sustainable preventive health policies aligned with MOH healthcare principles and priorities.
- Work collaboratively with relevant agencies including Health Promotion Board, Health Sciences Authority, and Public Healthcare Clusters.
- When relevant, work with divisions/agencies on legal/enforcement matters, funding arrangements, or public communications.
