Job Description
What the role is:
- make the radio spectrum available for government and non-government uses to maximise socio-economic benefits from the implementation of radiocommunication services;
- ensure the efficient and effective use of the spectrum to support national goals and objectives.
- Spectrum Authorisation : Process and manage applications for temporary and permanent spectrum use, ensuring compliance with national policies and regulatory requirements.
- Spectrum Engineering Analysis : Conduct technical studies on spectrum sharing and assess compatibility between various radiocommunication services and systems.
- Border Frequency Coordination : Support cross-border frequency coordination through data analysis, preparation of technical proposals, and ongoing liaison with neighbouring administrations to resolve interference and harmonise use of radio frequencies.
