Job Description
**Description**
The Assistant Mechanical Engineer will work under the supervision of a licensed professional engineer to create world class designs for new projects, alterations and redevelopments on a variety of HVAC and plumbing projects primarily for aviation, government, and military facilities. The Assistant Mechanical Engineer will work with the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting HVAC and plumbing plans according to budget constraints, design factors or client needs.
+ Assist in the HVAC and plumbing design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion, covering various HVAC and plumbing systems: air-side/duct design, chilled and condenser water, heating hot water, steam, HVAC controls, domestic water, sanitary waste and vent and compressed gases.
+ Assist in HVAC load calculation and energy modeling calculations and life cycle cost analyses (LCCA) with IESVE or similar software (Trane Trace, ...
