Job Description
Assist the Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of the distribution center, including planning and supervising the day-to-day activities of the warehouse staff and work closely with other departments related to inventory, audit, customer service and compliance. Ensure that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs. Manage the receiving and shipping of products, ensuring that all products are received and shipped in accordance with established procedures and timelines. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as productivity, picking accuracy, and on-time delivery, take appropriate actions to improve performance as needed. Ensure that all equipment and machinery are well-maintained and in good working order, coordinating repairs and maintenance activities as necessary.
