Job Description
A vacancy exists for an EE Assistant Payroll Manager at our Transport client’s Head Office in Sandton. The candidate will be reporting to the Remuneration Manager.
Job Requirements
- Grade 12 plus tertiary qualification in the field of Payroll Management.
- More than 8 years Payroll experience essential of which at least 2 years in a managerial
payroll role - Excellent ability to work with figures and an understanding of basic bookkeeping principles.
- Extensive knowledge / hands‑on experience of Payroll and Time & Attendance systems.
(Unique/Payspace payroll experience at parameter level is a prerequisite). - In-depth knowledge of the relevant Labour laws i.e. LRA, BCEA, COIDA, OSHA, POPI,
INCOME TAX ACT, Wage Determination Act, as well as Bargaining Council Agreements
and Payroll best practices. - Proficient in MS Office and Excel at advance level.
