POSITION TITLE
Assistant Principal - Elementary School
PRIMARY FUNCTION
The assistant principal's primary responsibility is to help fulfill the district mission to prepare and empower every student through a focus on creating a supportive climate for all students. The assistant principal will coordinate, supervise and evaluate personnel assigned to the school, as delegated by the principal.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Required – Master's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Education or a related field.
- Experience: Required – Five (5) years of teaching experience in an elementary or middle school setting. Preferred – Two (2) years of prior assistant principal experience.
