Job Description
The Assistant Produce Manager supports the Produce Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the produce department. This role helps ensure fresh high-quality fruits and vegetables are available, assists with inventory and merchandising, and provides excellent customer service to maintain a clean and attractive department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking fresh produce
- Ensure all produce items are fresh, rotated regularly, and properly displayed
- Support pricing, labeling, and promotional signage in accordance with store policies
- Help maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards in the department
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in minimizing spoilage and shrinkage
