The Department of Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine seeks candidates for an Assistant/Associate Professor position in the Division of Acute Care Surgery. The applicant should have training and experience in Trauman, Emergency General Surgery and Surgical Critical care.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical
Time spent treating patients will consistent of evaluation and mangement of Trauma and Emergency General Surgery patients at our urban teaching level I and level II trauma centers. There are also opportunities for an elective general surgery practive.
Faculty attend in numerous Surgical Intensive Care Units (ICUs). The Surgical ICUs have a mixture of surgical patients including; trauma, transplant, vascular, thoracic, orthopedic, plastic, obstetric, gynecologic-oncology and genral surgical services.
