The Department of Language Studies at the University of Toronto Mississauga invites applications for a tenure‐stream position in Linguistics at the rank of Assistant Professor, focusing on phonology and/or phonetics. The position starts July 1 2016. Qualified candidates must hold a PhD in Linguistics by the date of appointment, or shortly thereafter. Duties include teaching all undergraduate Linguistics courses, graduate‐level instruction, supervision of graduate students, maintaining an active research agenda, and active participation in departmental life.
