- Source and procure core materials like CRGO/CRNGO steel, copper, aluminium, insulation materials, transformer oil, and bought-out components.
- Develop and manage vendor base, including evaluation, onboarding, and performance monitoring.
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and payment terms to ensure cost efficiency and quality compliance.
- Ensure timely procurement aligned with production planning and dispatch schedules.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Coordinate with production, planning, QA/QC, and stores for requirement planning and material quality.
- Monitor market trends, raw material price fluctuations, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
