What are we looking for
An Assistant Restaurant Manager serving Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts is always working on behalf of our guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills and values that follow:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a high-end or luxury hotel fine dining pool & beach restaurant or an equivalent setting.
- Proven track record of leading a food & beverage service team in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of food & beverage operations including menu planning, inventory control, cost management and beverage section with a focus on Asian cuisine and beverages.
- Strong understanding of food and beverage trends, guest preferences and cultural sensitivity in culinary practices.
- Formal food & beverage training or equivalent certifications.
