Job Responsibilities- Negotiate for a best deal in consideration of Total Cost of Ownership
- Perform supply chain cost analysis and implement cost efficient and effective purchasing strategies
- Acquire quotes to support tenders, establish contracts with key suppliers and support production activities
- Work with the materials and planning team and implement engineering changes to ensure on-time deliveries of the right parts to operations, including support for warranty claims of defective components and ensuring quick repair turn‑around time to satisfy customer demands
- Work closely with Designers and Quality team to identify new components/prototypes and develop new and existing suppliers
- Management of PR/PO as well as purchase forecast to suppliers inclusive of rescheduling to meet changes in demand
