Job Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee the receipt, inspection, storage and issuance of all construction materials and equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels for all materials
- Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage, loss or deterioration of materials
- Monitor stock levels and initiate material requisitions to avoid shortages
- Conduct regular stock verification, reconciliation and audits
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly stock and consumption reports
- Coordinate with project engineers, procurement team and site staff for material requirements
- Ensure timely availability of materials in line with project schedules and priorities
- Track material movement between store and site locations
- Maintain proper documentation of Material Receipt Notes (MRN), Delivery Notes (DN), Issue Vouchers and Material Requisitions
