The Department of Computer Systems Technology ( CST ) in the College of Science and Technology at North Carolina A&T State University invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track faculty position in Information Technology beginning in August 2026. The appointment is expected at the Assistant Professor level; however, a higher rank may be considered for exceptionally well-qualified candidates. CST seeks applicants with the potential to develop an innovative and externally funded research program in one or more of the following areas: artificial intelligence, quantum computing, software systems design, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies
