IE University’s School of Science and Technology invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Environmental Science with a specialization in Environmental Chemistry, Analytics & potentially Toxicology. We seek a scientist focused on emerging contaminants and evidence based risk assessment , who advances the state of the art in analytical chemistry—including LC/GC-MS(/MS), high‑resolution MS for suspect and non‑target screening (HRMS), and ICP‑MS— and connects occurrence and fate data to actionable exposure and risk evaluations across water, soil, air and biota.
Candidates who integrate method development (e.g., passive sampling, microextraction, green analytical chemistry), transformation products, and data fusion (remote sensing, sensor networks, omics/toxicology readouts) are especially encouraged to apply.
