Job Description
- Perform and support the Manager/Director in all aspects of vessel activities to ensure profitability, efficient employment of managed/operated vessels and time charter-in tonnage.
- Timely monitoring of vessel positioning, movement and cargo loading / discharging processes for effective planning.
- Negotiation of Charter, Demurrage rates and lay time as per contract terms
- Support team in promoting business activities and management of client relationship to resolve all potential problems and issues.
- Calculate voyage estimates and assist with budgeting and preparation of commercial tenders.
- Assist to monitor market conditions and industry rates.
- Chartering of tugs/barges/offshore tonnage and other vessels for both owned and principal's tonnage.
