Job Summary:
The Associate Dean for Assessment and Evaluation at the Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine (KPSOM) is responsible for overseeing an integrated and rigorous process for assessing and evaluating medical student performance, faculty effectiveness, and the quality of the Schools educational programs. This role provides critical institutional leadership in the generation and use of outcomes data to drive continuous improvement in curricula. This role also brings dedicated strategic and operational oversight to advancing KPSOMs system of competency-based medical education. In coordination with the Strategy and Accreditation leaders and teams, the Associate Dean ensures compliance with WASC and LCME accreditation standards and aligns all assessment and improvement efforts with the Schools mission, vision, and values.
