Job Description
Make an Impact by:
- Support Engineer for the Singtel TV broadcast systems for Singtel TV, CAST, Singtel Business TV, Optus Sports and cross – carriage services.
- Supports three broadcast data centres onsite/remotely.
- -Service and system performance monitoring – proactive and predictive.
- -Service recovery of live services – headend, ingest and playout.
- -Event management – Major events (EPL, FIFAWC, EURO, national significant broadcast event).
- -Ops excellence – IT Disaster Recovery Plan exercise, IMDA regulatory compliance, and Security audit compliance.
- -Managing live content/sports event acquisition via satellite, fibre and IP delivery.
- Work closely with the project and operations teams; and external parties in problem troubleshooting and resolution.
