Responsible for the radiation safety for the department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine as well as contributing to the Radiation Response Team, Radiation Safety Officer and part of the Radiation Safety Committee. Also responsible for the implementation of Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) program for Radiology and Nuclear Medicine including radiopharmacy laboratory, radiation safety and waste policies as well as radiation audits and inspections.
Responsibilities
- Manage the implementation of department’s QA Program including the daily Quality Control checks
- Work with Biomedical Engineering to oversee the maintenance of all imaging equipment
