Job Description
The Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (https://minghsiehece.usc.edu/) and the Department of Physics and Astronomy (http://dornsife.usc.edu/physics) at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, California are conducting a joint search to hire a senior faculty member in the area of experimental quantum computing and information processing. Applicants are sought at the level of Associate or Full Professor; a tenure review will be conducted upon hiring. This search is part of the USC's recently announced Quantum Initiative. Applicants should have a doctoral degree in the relevant field, extensive record of research in any area of experimental quantum computing and quantum information science. Faculty appointments may be in either Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Physics and Astronomy.
