Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Associate Scientist - Onsite for a position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Thousand Oaks, CA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This is a junior-level role supporting cell-based assay work for small molecule chemistry programs. The ideal candidate will have foundational mammalian cell culture exposure, strong hands-on lab skills, and a collaborative, adaptable mindset. This team values curiosity, coachability, strong SOP adherence, and an eagerness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Develop biochemical, cell-based assays under supervision
- Routine execution of biochemical and cell-based assays such as protein binding and displacement, protein degradation, reporter assays, cell viability assays, and cytokine secretion assays
