Job Description
Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Associate Scientist - Onsite for a contract position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in South San Francisco, CA. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.
This role is for an early-career scientist to work in a collaborative pathology lab environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on immunohistochemistry (IHC) laboratory experience, including exposure to auto-stainers or instrument-based staining workflows. This position will focus on developing and implementing specialized tissue-based assays to support preclinical model development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with development and implementation of histopathology assays including single and multiplex immunohistochemistry (IHC) assays and in situ hybridization (ISH)
- Perform tissue-based assays and histology work
- Operate staining platforms and imaging systems
