Purpose of role
As the Global Corporate & Institutional Banking (GCIB) Asia franchise matures into providing more content and advisory to its strategic clients, we are building a Sovereign Coverage team to differentiate MUFG and drive conversations with clients’ C-Suite. The role consolidates coverage efforts under one umbrella to focus on similar client types, build synergies, and deliver sustainable solutions and a unified service platform.
The position is a coverage support role to: (1) align with the broader GCIB business strategy in collaboration with the Head of Sovereign Coverage, Financial Institutions; (2) implement and execute client solutions in close collaboration with in-country relationship managers, product teams across Bank, Securities and Trust Bank, and business partners in APAC and other regions; (3) support day-to-day tasks such as preparing client presentations, contributing to customer account plans and portfolio-related work, and suppor...
