JOB PURPOSE: Audit: To plan, execute, and finalize all assignments. Staff development: To ensure that all staff are productive, meet their development and competency needs, and are assessed. Financial: To ensure growth of the business and financial viability of the firm. Ad-hoc: To assist in the day-to-day operations of the firm. JOB DESCRIPTION Ensure prompt reporting and that all deadlines are met. Review the allocation of audits to staff members, ensuring understanding of duties. Review composition of audit teams. Complete relevant sections of the PRs for all team members and discuss reports with them. Ensure trainee accountants have completed TSR, PSR, and ER as relevant. Supervise and guide trainees regularly to perform required audit work and achieve competencies as per SAICA standards. Coach, train, and develop auditing staff to upgrade their knowledge on the job and in the office environment. Complete performance evaluations and discuss with the engagement partner. Mentor st...
