Athletic Trainer - Fort Mill High Schools (Supplemental Position) Job Summary: The outreach athletic trainer is responsible for day‐to‐day medical coverage in the high school outreach setting. Uses preventative measures, provides standard immediate care procedures, clinical evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation and reconditioning. Employs assessment outcome measures to determine effectiveness of the outreach program, determines return to play for athletes and active population, manages head injuries and concussions, and works under supervision of a directing physician while collaborating with the Sports Medicine Team. Education / Experience Master's degree in athletic training from a CAATE program. Experience as a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer preferred; must work independently. Licensure, Certification, and Registration Current athletic training certification by BOC. Eligible for South Carolina License within 30 days of hire.
